In 2019 I was approached by a friend about entering the skin care game. We saw a trend in hydrating face masks on our visits through different countries in Asia. Returning state side we noticed the men’s market hadn’t been quite tapped yet in this sub-category of face care and a lack of Asian American representation. We decided to bring our interest in skincare and our professional backgrounds together to create MIANN.

After two years searching for the finest raw materials, we introduce our first product, the MIANN Suizenji Nori Hydrating Face Mask. Put it on and feel MIANN’s unique formula of potent antioxidants and hydrating ingredients work to keep your skin young and healthy.

 
 

MIANN was fortunate enough to be featured in GQ for multiple issues with other select skincare brands.

Packaging

I’ve always wanted to do packaging so I gave myself the opportunity to do that. I approached the packaging design with a focus on the story of getting healthier skin with specific textures.

Following the story was incorporating our product into your routine by designing a functional box that made our face mask accessible and looks great anywhere you place it.
